G20 India Summit

The G20, or Group of Twenty, is an international forum consisting of 19 individual countries and the European Union. These member countries are some of the world’s largest economies, and they come together to discuss and coordinate various economic and financial issues. The G20 was established in 1999 in response to financial crises in the late 1990s, and it has since become an important platform for global economic cooperation.

The 2023 G20 New Delhi summit is the eighteenth meeting of G20, a summit being held between 9 – 10 September 2023. It is taking place in Bharat Mandapam International Exhibition-Convention Centre, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. It is the first G20 summit held in India as well as in South Asia.

The G20 holds annual summits where leaders from its member countries meet to discuss a wide range of global issues, including economic growth, financial stability, trade, climate change, and more. These summits provide an opportunity for world leaders to engage in discussions and negotiations to address pressing global challenges.
