Manish Sisodia says “BJP dug potholes everywhere to trouble Delhi people”

Delhi’s Road Repair Initiative: AAP’s Commitment to a Pothole-Free City

In a recent announcement, former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Manish Sisodia emphasized the government’s commitment to make Delhi a pothole-free city. He actively criticized the BJP for worsening road conditions across the national capital.

Sisodia stated, Arvind Kejriwal has committed to making Delhi pothole-free. There were numerous potholes on this road, but we repaired it after inspection.” He noted that the government is taking a proactive approach, and all MLAs have received clear directives to ensure Delhi remains free of potholes.

Furthermore, he accused the BJP of intentionally creating road problems. “The BJP has created potholes all over to trouble the people of Delhi. They wanted Arvind Kejriwal to be in jail, but the people of Delhi will stand by him and vote for him,” he asserted.

A Comprehensive Road Inspection

On Monday, Delhi Chief Minister Atishi, along with other AAP members, inspected road conditions throughout the capital. This initiative forms part of a broader strategy to address urgent infrastructure needs.

Atishi will oversee South and South East Delhi, while Saurabh Bharadwaj will focus on East Delhi. Additionally, Gopal Rai is responsible for North East Delhi, Imran Hussain will manage Central and New Delhi, Kailash Gehlot will handle South West Delhi and Outer Delhi, and Mukesh will take charge of North West Delhi.

A Call to Action

Former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal also joined the road inspections. He announced that they would prepare a detailed report for all roads under the Public Works Department (PWD). In addition, he submitted a letter to Atishi in the state assembly, urging immediate repairs for damaged roads.

Kejriwal assured residents that the government would soon resume work that had stalled during his recent incarceration. He emphasized the need for a city-wide assessment of the roads. Moreover, all legislators and ministers will participate in inspections and repairs within the next two to three days.

Conclusion

In conclusion, the AAP‘s proactive approach to improving Delhi’s road conditions demonstrates its commitment to public welfare. As the party tackles the pothole crisis, community support will be vital. Ultimately, AAP aims to ensure safer and smoother roads for all residents, turning this vision into reality.
