Union Minister Kiren Rijiju’s criticizes Congress Party

Union Minister Kiren Rijiju’s Bold Statements: A Call for Vigilance Against Political Manipulation

Targeting Political Manipulation

In a recent address, Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju brought attention to the pressing issues facing Hindus and other communities in India. He specifically targeted the Congress party’s approach towards Muslims, accusing them of treating Muslims merely as a vote bank.

Rijiju urged the Muslim community to be cautious and not to become pawns in the party’s “divide and rule” strategies. His message was clear: “Do not allow yourselves to be treated as a vote bank by the Congress! To Hindus and other communities: Be vigilant and do not fall prey to the Congress Party’s divide and rule tactics“.

Refuting Claims About the Constitution

Rijiju also addressed misleading claims by Congress regarding the Bharatiya Janata Party‘s (BJP) intentions. He firmly rejected accusations that the BJP plans to alter the Constitution.

According to him, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the true guardian of the Constitution, consistently championing social justice. “Under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, we (BJP) have accomplished so much that we seek the people’s support based on our achievements,” he stated, highlighting the BJP’s governance record.

He suggested that Congress feels intimidated by the BJP’s progress. “If they compete on the basis of work, they won’t win a single seat. That’s why they mislead the public by invoking Baba Saheb’s name and making false claims about altering the Constitution“.

Criticism of Rahul Gandhi

Rijiju did not stop there; he criticized Congress for historically undermining the Constitution. He referenced the 1975 Emergency as a pivotal moment in this regard.

He expressed disappointment in Congress leaders like Rahul Gandhi, alleging they have aligned themselves with anti-India elements. Rahul Gandhi should have evolved as the Leader of the Opposition, but instead, he has aligned himself with anti-national forces,” Rijiju remarked.

The minister further criticized Gandhi’s international engagements, stating, “It is truly regrettable that we have such a leader in our Lok Sabha who openly associates with those who stand against India.” This reflects a sentiment of frustration among BJP supporters regarding the opposition’s actions.

Ambedkar’s Legacy and Congress’s Historical Actions

Rijiju also discussed the legacy of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, claiming that Congress has consistently sought to downplay his contributions to Indian society. He noted that the Congress party did not bestow the Bharat Ratna upon Ambedkar.

Rijiju alleged that historical figures like Jawaharlal Nehru worked to diminish Ambedkar‘s legacy, despite Mahatma Gandhi‘s insistence on including him in the Cabinet due to his exceptional knowledge, particularly in law.

“It is disheartening to witness Congress members, who once disrespected Baba Saheb and the Constitution, now hypocritically holding the Constitution in their hands,” he remarked. His comments serve as a reminder of the complex and often contentious history between political parties in India.

Conclusion: A Call for Awareness

In conclusion, Rijiju‘s statements reflect the BJP‘s commitment to its narrative of progress and unity. They also serve as a rallying cry for vigilance among the electorate.
