Andhra Pradesh Politics – Arvind Bhadoria Appointed BJP In-Charge

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has made a fresh organisational change in Andhra Pradesh, appointing Dr. Arvind Bhadoria as the party’s new State In-Charge (Prabhari). Vanathi Srinivasan, a BJP MLA from Tamil Nadu, has been appointed as the Co-In-Charge (Sah Prabhari) for the state. The appointments were announced by BJP national president Nitin Nabin on September 23, 2026, and took effect immediately.

The appointments are part of a wider BJP organisational restructuring covering states and Union Territories across the country. The party has assigned new responsibilities to several senior leaders as it reorganises its state-level leadership and coordination structure. In Andhra Pradesh, Bhadoria and Srinivasan will work with the state leadership on party organisation, coordination and grassroots activities.

Arvind Bhadoria, who is from Madhya Pradesh, has been given responsibility for overseeing the BJP’s organisational affairs in Andhra Pradesh. His role involves coordinating with the state unit and party workers while implementing organisational programmes and directions from the national leadership.

Vanathi Srinivasan, who is from Tamil Nadu, will assist Bhadoria as co-in-charge. She has previously held organisational responsibilities within the BJP, including leadership of the party’s Mahila Morcha. Her appointment adds another senior leader to the BJP’s organisational team in Andhra Pradesh.

The changes have been welcomed by Andhra Pradesh BJP president P.V.N. Madhav, who congratulated both newly appointed leaders. Madhav said their experience and guidance would contribute to the party’s organisational work in the state and thanked the national leadership for making the appointments.

The Andhra Pradesh appointments are also part of a broader reorganisation involving the BJP’s leadership structure in the southern states. In neighbouring Telangana, Sunil Bansal has been retained as state in-charge, with Abhay Patil and Rekha Sharma appointed as co-in-charges. Former Andhra Pradesh BJP president D. Purandeswari has meanwhile been assigned responsibility as Odisha in-charge.

The new organisational team takes charge at a time when political activity and party-building efforts remain an important focus for all major political parties in Andhra Pradesh. The BJP’s state organisation will now coordinate its programmes under the supervision of Arvind Bhadoria and Vanathi Srinivasan, working alongside the state leadership and local party units.

The appointments are expected to give the BJP’s Andhra Pradesh unit a clearly defined national-level organisational team. The immediate focus will be on strengthening party coordination, maintaining communication between the state and national leadership, and expanding organisational activities at the grassroots level.
