Sanjay Kumar Jha
He is also known as Sanjay Jha, was born on December 1, 1967. He is an Indian politician who has held various significant roles, including serving as the Minister of Water Resources and the Minister of Information and Public Relations in the Government of Bihar. Additionally, he has been a Member of the Bihar Legislative Council. In February 2024, Jha was elected unopposed to the Rajya Sabha as a Member of Parliament from Bihar, representing the Janata Dal (United) party, succeeding Bashistha Narain Singh.

Sanjay Kumar Jha entered active politics in 2004-05 and became a Member of the Bihar Legislative Council in 2006. He is a prominent politician and the National General Secretary of Janata Dal (United), serving three terms as a Minister in the Government of Bihar. Jha is also recognized as a close and trusted ally of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
