BJP Unveils ‘Sankalp Patra’ for Haryana Assembly Elections
On Thursday, September 19, BJP Chief JP Nadda officially launched the party’s manifesto, titled “Sankalp Patra”, in anticipation of the upcoming Haryana Assembly Elections set for October 5. The event saw the presence of state Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and state BJP president Mohan Lal Badoli, highlighting the party’s commitment to its electoral promises.

A Critical View of Congress
In his address, Nadda criticized the Congress party, stating, “For Congress, this manifesto is merely a formality—a ritual meant to mislead the public. Ten years ago, Haryana’s image was tarnished by job corruption and land scams. For us, the ‘Sankalp Patra’ holds great significance.” His remarks underscored the BJP’s focus on restoring credibility and accountability in governance.
Empowering Women
The manifesto outlines several key initiatives aimed at empowering women and boosting the state’s economy. Notably, the BJP promises to provide Rs 2,100 per month to women under the Lado Lakshmi Yojna. Nadda emphasized, “All women will receive financial assistance of Rs 2,100 per month under the ‘Lado Lakshmi Yojna.'”
Enhancements to Healthcare
Additionally, the Chirayu Ayushman scheme is set to receive an enhancement, with annual coverage for beneficiaries increasing from Rs 5 lakh to Rs 10 lakh. This significant change aims to improve healthcare access for families in need.

Supporting Farmers
The manifesto also pledges to maintain the Minimum Support Price (MSP) for 24 crops, ensuring that farmers receive fair compensation for their produce. This commitment seeks to enhance agricultural sustainability and support the farming community.
Job Creation for Youth
In a bid to tackle youth unemployment, Nadda announced plans to create 2 lakh government jobs if the party is re-elected. “We will offer government jobs to 2 lakh youth,” he stated confidently, aiming to address the pressing issue of job scarcity among young people.
Affordable Energy for Families
Furthermore, the BJP aims to support underprivileged families by providing LPG cylinders at a subsidized rate of Rs 500 for Antyodaya BPL families. This initiative seeks to alleviate the financial burden on low-income households.
Commitment to Agniveers
The commitment to the Agniveers was also highlighted, with Nadda assuring job guarantees for these young servicemen, showcasing the party’s dedication to supporting those who serve the nation.
Conclusion
As the elections approach, the ‘Sankalp Patra’ sets a clear agenda for the BJP, focusing on welfare, economic growth, and job creation. The party seeks to secure its place in Haryana’s political landscape by addressing the needs and aspirations of its citizens.
