The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has released its third list of 29 candidates for the upcoming Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections, covering the second and third phases. In total, the BJP has announced 45 candidates across three lists so far. The elections in Jammu and Kashmir will take place in three phases: September 18, September 25, and October 1.
In the 2014 Assembly elections, when Jammu and Kashmir was still a full-fledged state, the BJP secured 25 seats. This upcoming election will be significant as it marks the first Assembly elections in the region since its reorganization into a Union Territory. The party is likely aiming to improve its performance and expand its influence in the region.
