In a rally held in the Padder-Nagseni assembly segment, where he was campaigning for BJP candidate and former minister Sunil Sharma, Shah declared, “We will eradicate terrorism to such a degree that it will never resurface.” He accused the National Conference and Congress of attempting to revive terrorism, referencing their manifestos which he claimed propose releasing terrorists. Shah asserted, “This is the Modi government, and no one has the power to revive terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir.”

Shah further framed the upcoming election as a contest between two opposing forces: the National Conference and PDP on one side, and the BJP on the other. He criticized the NCCongress alliance’s promise to restore Article 370, questioning whether such a move would be beneficial. He warned that if the alliance succeeded, it could result in the removal of reservations granted by the BJP to Paharis, Gujjars, and other groups.

In his remarks, Shah reassured the public with a bold statement: “Don’t worry, I am closely monitoring the situation in Kashmir, and you can be assured that neither Abdullah’s party nor Rahul‘s party will form the government in Jammu and Kashmir.”
