Amit Shah Reaches Lucknow Today For Big BJP Meeting

Union Home Minister Amit Shah reached Lucknow on Friday 30th October 2026 to attend the BJP State Working Committee meeting. This is the first state working committee meeting under new state president Pankaj Chaudhary. The meeting is being held at Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University auditorium in Lucknow. More than 2,850 office bearers including district presidents, state leaders and key workers are attending. The meeting started at 11 AM and will continue till evening. This is the most important meeting before UP Assembly Election 2027.

Who Is Attending and What Is Agenda?

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya, Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak, UP BJP in-charge Vinod Tawde, Organization General Secretary Dharampal Singh are present. Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated the meeting and gave organizational guidance. CM Yogi Adityanath will deliver concluding speech.

The agenda of the meeting is to finalize roadmap for 2027 assembly polls. Party will discuss booth management, strengthening organization in all 75 districts, coordination between government and organization, and countering Samajwadi Party narrative. Yesterday on 29th October, state office bearers meeting was held at UP BJP headquarters to finalize agenda.

What BJP Leaders Said Before Meeting?

Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya said Amit Shah's address will help form BJP government for third time in 2027. He said Amit Shah is chief architect of UP victories in last decade. Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak said BJP will secure resounding majority in 2027 and Amit Shah will give fresh energy to organization. Minister Danish Azad Ansari said today is big meeting of executive committee and future strategy will be discussed. State leaders said they will receive guidance from Amit Shah who is former national president and key strategist.

Why This Meeting Is Important After MLC Results?

This meeting is happening just one day after UP MLC results where BJP won 6 seats and SP won 5 seats. SP won Varanasi and Lucknow seats which created pressure on BJP. So Amit Shah's meeting is crucial to boost cadre morale. Party wants to show that organization is strong before 2027. This working committee will set targets for workers for next 3 months. All eyes are now on what Amit Shah says in his address about 2027 election strategy and how to achieve 300 plus seats target in Uttar Pradesh.
