PM Modi speech at Parivarthan Mahasabha in Jharkhand

A Call for Change: PM Modi’s Vision for Jharkhand

Critique of the JMM Government

In a powerful address at the Parivartan Mahasabha in Hazaribagh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi strongly criticized the ruling Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) party. He accused the JMM and its Congress coalition of compromising the identity, culture, and traditions of the people. Moreover, Modi emphasized that their pursuit of vote bank politics has jeopardized the state’s development.

Defending Reservations for Marginalized Communities

Furthermore, Modi expressed serious concerns about Congress‘s efforts to undermine reservations for Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC). He assured the audience, “I guarantee you, no one can take away these reservations as long as the BJP is in power.”

Allegations of Corruption

At the rally, Modi went on to describe the JMM-led coalition’s tactics as serving “jhooth ki jalebi” (a sweet made of lies). He criticized them for their insensitivity, especially in light of the tragic loss of aspirants during an excise constable recruitment drive. This incident underscores the dire consequences of their governance.

In addition, Modi addressed rampant corruption. He accused the JMMCongress alliance of creating a “transfer-posting industry.” Notably, thousands of transfers reportedly occurred in just two weeks, with the JMM allegedly profiting immensely. He stated, “As they prepare to leave, they’ve intensified both the speed and scale of corruption. But this game won’t last much longer.”

A Vision for Development

Moving on, Modi didn’t hold back in his critique of Hemant Soren, the JMM leader. He accused Soren of derailing the state’s development. “While the central government is tirelessly working for Jharkhand’s progress, the state government is determined to hinder it,” he remarked. Thus, the CongressJMMRJD alliance has become the primary obstacle to development.

Commitment to the People

Asserting his commitment to the people of Jharkhand, Modi declared, “The security of ‘Roti, Beti, Maati’ will be ensured when the BJP forms the government.” He reiterated the party’s pledge to protect reservations for SC, ST, and OBC communities, emphasizing that these provisions are crucial for securing social justice in the state.

A Call to Action

Consequently, the Prime Minister urged a collective effort to “throw out such forces” that threaten the values of “mati, beti, roti” (land, daughter, bread). He proclaimed that the time for “Parivartan” (change) has come. Modi encouraged the people to safeguard their identity and combat corruption.

Concluding Remarks

In his concluding remarks, Modi characterized Congress as inherently anti-Dalit and anti-tribal. He accused them of implementing policies that hinder the progress of marginalized communities. Even now, he warned, Congress is trying to end reservations to benefit their special vote bank.

Ultimately, as the Parivartan Yatra comes to a close, Modi envisions it as the dawn of a new era for Jharkhand. His message is clear: “Roti, Beti, and Maati.” He called on the people to unite for change, promising a brighter future for the state under BJP leadership.
