BJP’s Victory in Haryana: Trust in Modi Shines Through
Acknowledging Public Confidence
Union Minister for Women and Child Development and BJP leader Annapurna Devi attributed the party’s success in the Haryana Assembly elections to the unwavering trust of the public. She emphasized that this confidence was clearly reflected in the influence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
“First of all, I want to congratulate the people of Haryana and express my gratitude for their continued trust in the Haryana government for a third term,” Devi stated. “The voters have made it clear through their mandate that ‘Modi hai tho Mumkin hai.’ Once again, they placed their faith in Modi, and his influence was evident.”

Engaging with the Public
Devi highlighted the efforts of Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini. He actively engaged with the public on crucial issues, such as government jobs and ongoing initiatives led by Chief Minister Khattar.
“The people have once again demonstrated their trust in the BJP. They are affirming their support for Modi’s vision,” she added. “It’s noteworthy that forming a government for a third consecutive term is often challenging. Yet, the people have granted us a strong mandate.”
Election Results Overview
According to the Election Commission‘s data, the BJP secured 48 out of 90 seats in the Haryana assembly elections. Congress won 37 seats. Independents captured 3 seats, while the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) obtained 2 seats.
Responding to Allegations of Propaganda
Devi addressed allegations from Congress regarding misleading propaganda. She asserted that the people of Haryana have remained unaffected by such claims.
She speculated that the exit polls may have shown favorable figures for Congress due to this very propaganda. “Nonetheless, we want to emphasize that the people’s trust in the Chief Minister is a result of Modi’s leadership,” she remarked.
Devi also acknowledged the significant contribution of Haryana incharge Dharmendra Pradhan. “His exceptional leadership has played a key role in this remarkable victory,” she stated.

Critique of Congress’s Complaints
In response to Congress‘s complaint to the Election Commission about the delay in displaying poll trends, Devi criticized the party’s pattern of blaming the EVM whenever they lose.
“Congress has a long-standing habit of pointing fingers at the Election Commission or the EVM after a defeat. The public has recognized this behavior,” she said. “If they’re raising concerns in Haryana, they should also address the situation in Jammu and Kashmir.”
The Situation in Jammu and Kashmir
Speaking on the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly election results, Devi noted the alliance between the National Conference and Congress. Despite this, she pointed out that the BJP has made significant strides in the Jammu region.
Even with the National Conference–Congress alliance securing an absolute majority by winning 48 out of 90 seats, Devi remained confident in the BJP‘s progress and influence.

Addressing Farooq Abdullah’s Comments
Responding to comments from Farooq Abdullah, Devi stated, “While he expresses his own views, the reality is different. Since the abrogation of Article 370, the people of Jammu and Kashmir are quite content. They feel more independent and are benefiting from various Indian government schemes.”
She concluded, “The region has progressed in every aspect since that decision, so I don’t believe his reasoning holds up.”
With the elections shaping the political landscape in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, the BJP continues to position itself as a party trusted by the people. The leadership of Prime Minister Modi remains a central theme in its campaign and governance.
