Background & Career
V. D. Satheesan built his political career as a six-time MLA from Paravur and practised as an advocate in the Kerala High Court for nearly a decade before rising to lead the state's Congress-led opposition.
As Chief Minister since May 2026, he heads the United Democratic Front government that unseated the CPI(M)-led Left Democratic Front after its ten-year run in power.
